This week, a tip instead of a recipe. When out and about, it is easy to forget to ask or mistake something and think you are eating something that is all vegetable, or all meat. Busy restaurants don’t segregate dishes in dishwashers, and flour tends to float around in the air and land on whatever happens to be around. Communication between kitchen and wait staff is put to the test at peak times and sometimes changes from the menu standard don’t come through.
Be diligent, be careful. Don’t drink and gluten. (ugh.)
