Heartlander of the Week: Do It for Us All

This week’s Heartlander is everyone who placed items at the site of the Century 16 in Aurora Colorado this summer.

Sometimes we do things for now, sometimes for the future, sometimes for ourselves and sometimes for others.  Sometimes we don’t really know why we do things.

As an Analyst, the last is not really me, but I’ll admit sometimes you can overthink.  Maybe we just do things sometimes as an expression that is personal, that is communal.  A way of communicating that which does not fit into words.

The city removed the crosses and other memorial items left at the Century 16 site this past week.  They will be preserved and stored for the families of the victims and history.
