Gluten-free Monday: There Is Always an Alternative

If you simply cannot do without a favorite wheat-bearing food, then don’t give it up.  There is always some way to have your gluten-free cake and eat it, too.

Speaking of cake, there are traditional cake recipes that call for nut flours (hazel nut, almond, etc), or a standard wheat flour recipe can be used with substitute blends designed to replace wheat flour.  Sometimes the taste or texture is a bit different, or a cake will not stay fresh as long or the cost will be slightly higher.  However, your tummy will thank you.

To everyone getting what they want, and (you try some times, you just may find) what they need.
