This week’s Heartlander is Donald Driver. Number 80. One of the greatest Wide Receivers in the history of football, the greatest in the history of the Green Bay Packers.
In an era of free agency and team hopping, he spent his entire professional football career with the Packers. Brett Farve and Aaron Rogers’ top Receiver, in later years he wound up frequently as a decoy, drawing off three or four members of the Defense so the QB could get the ball to someone else. He was a seventh round draft pick from an undistinguished college program.
It was this time last year that we started to see a different side of Donald Driver. He made Green Bay proud on the dance floor as well as the football field.
To multitasking and being yourself and never giving up.
