Gluten-free Monday: Pizza!!!!

So, years ago, I found out it is super easy to make your own pizza crust—just flour, baking powder, salt, oil and water.

Time passed, and I realized I was gluten sensitive.  The gluten-free flour was expensive and homemade pizza seemed a bit of a luxury.

More time passed, I developed more trust in gluten-free flour.  I developed a hankering for pizza.  Takeout is expensive.

So here we go.

Gluten-free Pizza Crust

1 cup gluten-free flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp golden flax (optional, but I think it really helps flavor and texture)

½ tsp salt

1/3 cup water

2 Tbsp oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Mix dry ingredients.  Add oil and water and knead with your hands until smooth dough forms. Pat out on a pizza pan or a cookie sheet.  Top with sauce, cheese and toppings of your choice.  Bake for 20 minutes, or until desired brownness.
